A 7.3 Powerstroke boost fooler is an aftermarket device that tricks the engine into producing higher boost pressure. It intercepts the signal from the boost sensor and modifies it to show lower boost pressure than actual. This fools the engine into increasing boost to reach the target pressure, resulting in increased power and performance.
Prevent over boost and make big boost with this easy to install boost fooler modification. Over boost codes at between 23-24 psi set by truck with performance modifications like a performance chip or performance injectors results in computer defueling and trouble codes at those higher boost levels. When the computer defuels, the injector performance is reduced while the computer is in defuel mode.

Without at least a chip there's no benefit.

Will it still show the correct boost on a cts3 or would I need a different boost gauge

IF I HAVE A STAGE 1.5 KC TURBO DO I NEED THIS KIT STILL OR DOES THE TRUCK ALREADY NOT KNOW THE AMOUNT OF BOOST BEING BUILT?

There is a sensor on the truck that this fools. You don't remove the sensor with a turbo upgrade.

Simple straight forward install took me about 5 minutes and got rid of a leaky hose at the spider at the same time. made a huge difference with the new injectors and turbo. No better bang for your buck and no codes.

I would get sick of my truck falling off I power after it shifted when driving or towing. Now it shifts great no slamming in to gear if you get it on the power and smoothed the truck out. Definitely a must have for your truck and it installs in 15 minutes.
