The AVP GWPNIMK73 is a polished two-piece intake manifold for a 1999.5–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It replaces the factory spider and splits the hot turbo outlet from the cooled air coming back from the intercooler.
The stock spider carries both streams in one casting, so heat from the compressor outlet soaks the intake charge. This kit uses a separate aluminum elbow for the hot side and an isolated manifold for the cold side. AVP flow-tests it higher than the factory spider. The result they sell it for is faster spool, lower EGTs, and a cooler intake charge. Fittings and plugs are in the box. The finish is polished aluminum.
It fits late-1999.5 through 2003 Super Duty 7.3 trucks. Early 1999 trucks use a different turbo and spider. It is not for sale in California.
Fitment
- 1999.5–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
- F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550
- Polished two-piece intake and turbo elbow
- Fittings and plugs included
- Does not fit early 1999
- Not for sale in California
The boots and clamps are separate. A new manifold on oil-soaked factory boots will still leak. The Y-bridge support bracket can need a little fitting on some trucks.
