The Bullet Proof Diesel 90409000 is a front-mount supplemental air-to-oil cooler system for 2008–2010 Ford Super Duty trucks with the 6.4L Powerstroke. It adds extra oil cooling capacity without requiring removal of the factory oil cooler, which is located in the engine valley and is difficult and time-consuming to service.

The factory stacked-plate oil cooler is a common weak point on these engines. Coolant passages can clog over time, reducing heat transfer and causing high oil temperatures—especially when towing or under heavy load. This kit routes engine oil through a high-efficiency air-to-oil cooler mounted in the grille. It works alongside the OEM cooler (original or newly replaced) to help restore proper oil temperatures.
