The Edge Insight CTS3 (part number 84130-3) is a multi-parameter digital gauge monitor and diagnostic scan tool designed for 1996 and newer OBD-II equipped gas and diesel vehicles. Featuring a full-color 5-inch capacitive touchscreen with edge-to-edge glass and an integrated ambient light sensor, the CTS3 provides real-time digital monitoring without altering factory PCM calibrations. Edge equips this monitor with high-speed ARM processing, multiple customizable digital gauge layouts, built-in data logging with export capabilities, performance drag-strip testing routines, and an expandable EAS (Expandable Accessory System) bus to integrate supplementary analog pressure, temperature, and EGT thermocouple sensors.
Cluttered A-pillar analog gauge pods, delayed diagnostic readings, unmonitored exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) leading to turbo damage, unnoticed transmission overheating under heavy towing, and unreadable OBD-II trouble codes are what this monitor eliminates. Mechanical gauge installations require drilling firewall pass-throughs, running individual fluid lines into the cab, and wiring separate power leads for each dial. The Edge Insight CTS3 streams real-time OEM sensor data—including engine oil temperature (EOT), engine coolant temperature (ECT), high-pressure oil pressure (HPOP ICP), injector duty cycle, boost pressure, transmission fluid temperature (TFT), and gear lockup status—directly through the factory OBD-II port onto a single screen. It is a comprehensive digital monitor and diagnostic scan tool only; it does not add horsepower or modify ECM/PCM engine tuning calibrations.
It fits all 1996 and newer OBD-II compliant diesel and gasoline trucks, SUVs, and passenger vehicles, with tailored factory PID monitoring parameters across Ford Powerstroke, GM Duramax, and Dodge/RAM Cummins platforms.

- 1998.5–2024 Dodge / RAM 2500 / 3500 5.9L & 6.7L Cummins
- Universal fitment for 1996 and newer OBD-II compliant gas and diesel vehicles
- 5-inch full-color capacitive touchscreen with swipe functionality
- Reads and clears standard SAE and manufacturer-specific OBD-II diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
- Customizable digital gauge screens, swipe-to-view layouts, and user-programmable audio/visual alerts
- Supports Edge EAS modular accessories (EGT pyrometer probes, pressure sensors, backup cameras)
- Built-in Wi-Fi for automatic internet firmware and vehicle calibration updates
- Digital gauge monitor and OBD-II cable kit only (does not include tuning or horsepower programming)
Before plugging into the vehicle, connect the CTS3 monitor to a computer using the included USB cable and run the Edge Fusion update software, or connect directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to verify the device has the latest firmware and vehicle database installed. Clean the windshield mounting area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before applying the heavy-duty suction cup mount to guarantee proper suction against glass temperature fluctuations. Route the main OBD-II communication cable behind driver dash panels and kick panels clear of the steering column, pedals, and emergency brake linkages. If monitoring exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) on pre-emissions platforms or trucks without a factory post-turbo EGT sensor (such as the 7.3L, 6.0L, early 5.9L Cummins, or early Duramax), install an optional Edge EAS starter kit and drill/tap an EGT thermocouple into the exhaust manifold upstream of the turbocharger turbine housing.
