7.3 OBS Powerstroke Atlas 227-9497 SS Bellowed Up Pipes SKU: atl227-9497

I love the up pipes and it comes with everything which is great. The only issue I had was the threads on the collector were not fully cut and one was slightly crooked. I spent 3 hours wondering why I couldn't get the bolts to seat down until I finally removed the turbo again. Looked at the threads and noticed that they weren't fully threaded. Tried to run the bolts in without the turbo and it didn't go more than a quarter inch on 2 of the 4. Simple fix just ran my tap through them and no problem. The only thing I noticed was the top passenger side bolt hole was slightly crooked. All the wasted time could have been saved if a quick bolt check was done before assembly. I'm not going to hit the product hard for this as I work in a quality department for a missile defense company and will say sampling sometimes misses things. High quality part, excellent craftsmanship but the fit is very tight to the back of the engine. I was considering putting some type of heat shielding on or around them but opted not to. After installing them I�m glad I didn�t because it would have contacted the heads as there is barely a 1/8 inch in some places. The install was normal and would buy again but a little more space between the pipe and back of the heads would be desirable.
