The BD Diesel 1064232F TowMaster is a rebuilt 48RE automatic for 2005-2007 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 2WD trucks with the 5.9L Cummins. This 2005-2007 unit is built for trucks with the TVV stepper motor. The stock 48RE was built for factory power, so added fuel, larger tires and heavy trailers lead to soft shifts, burned clutches and heat. This transmission adds clutch capacity and line pressure for street and towing use.

BD installs a revised valve body for higher apply pressure, upgrades the governor solenoid and transducer, replaces stock thrust washers with Torrington roller bearings, and ships each unit with a deep aluminum pan and an auxiliary full-flow filter kit.
