The BD Diesel 1064734SS TowMaster package pairs a rebuilt Allison 1000 transmission with a matched BD torque converter for 2006-2007 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD 4WD trucks with the 6.6L LBZ Duramax. The factory Allison runs thin clutch packs and low line pressure, so added power and heavy trailers lead to slipping, heat and burned clutches. This package is built to hold that load day after day.
BD adds clutches to the packs, uses high energy frictions, revises the oil circuits and installs new A and B trim valves so the clutches see full line pressure. A new converter lockup valve raises lockup pressure, and the pair is dyno tested together before it ships with BD's deep aluminum pan. Core required, refundable deposit at checkout.
