5.9L Cummins Hot and Cold Side Boot Kit | S&B 83-2016

Replace cracked intercooler boots on a 2003–2007 5.9 Cummins before they blow off under boost. S&B 83-2016 is a hot- and cold-side silicone boot kit for Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Factory rubber couplers harden, split, and slide off the pipes. These boots are 4-ply aramid-reinforced silicone with a male groove that locks to the OEM pipe bead. Eight new spring-loaded T-bolt clamps are included so you do not reuse stretched factory clamps.

Clean the pipe beads, seat each boot on the groove, and tighten the T-bolts evenly. After first drive, recheck clamp torque and look for soot at the joints. If a 2003–2007 5.9 Cummins is leaking boost at the intercooler boots, S&B 83-2016 is the hot- and cold-side kit built for that truck.
