The S&B 83-2011 is the hot- and cold-side boot kit for a 1999.5–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It replaces the intercooler couplers and the plenum boots. Ford used both 3-inch and 3.25-inch outlets, so both sizes are in the box.

You get two 3-by-3 couplers and two 3-by-3.25 couplers, twelve T-bolt clamps, and two hose clamps. The boots are aramid-reinforced silicone. Use the T-bolts on the metal tubes. Use the hose clamps on the plastic plenum so the T-bolt does not crack it. A split boot is a boost leak, a lazy turbo, and black soot at the clamp.

    It fits 1999.5–2003 F-250 and F-350 trucks.

    3 Questions asked on 1999.5-2003 7.3L Powerstroke Hot & Cold Side Boot Kit S&B 83-2011 •

Q Mark • 03/16/2026, 1:05:27 AM The picture show eight boots but the description say four. Which is it four or eight.
A 03/16/2026, 2:29:24 PM Some trucks need (2) 3”x3.25 couplers and some need (2) 3”x3” couplers. We included 2 of each to ensure you have the correct boots.
Q Matt • 10/01/2026, 6:47:44 PM So does the kit come with 6 or 8 boots?
A 10/01/2026, 6:56:19 PM The kit actually comes with eight (8) boots total. A standard 7.3L only uses 6 boots, but because Ford used two different sizes for the lower intercooler connections depending on the truck, S&B includes both the 3" x 3" couplers AND the 3" x 3.25" couplers. This way, you will have the correct size no matter what and you will simply have two boots left over
Q steve • 10/12/2026, 4:32:51 PM Does this fit an early 7.3 build date October 1998
