If you don't have a lift, don't try this install unless you are a glutton for punishment. It can be done, but man, it ain't easy. Once it's in, it's quiet and powerful. My Ford lift pump failed 5 times in six years - this one has a much better reliability record. I won't know for sure until time has passed. Definitely a high quality, high precision build. Suggest you pair this with a H&S 121003 Fuel Filter Conversion Kit to replace the upper filter - that way there, you will never have to buy Ford filters again, saving a boatload of money. In both cases, follow the damn directions and you can't go wrong. Listen to some youtube vids and you'll screw it up.
