The ATS 3049303104 is a billet output shaft for a 1989–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. It is the shaft that sends power out of the transmission. The transmission has to come apart to install it.
A stock shaft is the usual failure on a tuned truck or a heavy tow rig. This one is billet steel, so it twists farther before it snaps. ATS lists it for high-power use and towing. It is sold one at a time. The input shaft, the pump, and the clutches are not included.
It fits 1989–2003 F-Series 7.3 trucks with an E4OD or 4R100.
