Stop exhaust leaks and broken bolts for good. The BD Diesel 1045982 Exhaust Manifold Bolt & Spacer Hardware Kit is engineered specifically for 1998.5–2024 Dodge/Ram 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engines to solve the common failures of stock and typical aftermarket fasteners.

Many aftermarket manifold bolts are shorter than OEM and cannot properly handle repeated heat cycles. Over time they stretch, fatigue, and break—leading to exhaust leaks, ticking noises, and the need for constant re-torquing. Zinc-plated hardware can also suffer from zinc embrittlement and corrosion. BD’s solution uses Grade 10.9 flange-head bolts paired with precision black oxide spacers so the fasteners operate in elastic stretch without permanent yield or fracture, delivering far better thermal durability and long-term clamping force.

Fitment

• 1998.5–2024 Dodge/Ram 2500, 3500, 4500 & 5500 with 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins
• Also fits 1994–1998 5.9L Cummins with aftermarket manifolds only (will not fit OEM 12-valve manifolds)

Important Notes

• 2003–2024 applications: Factory heat shield must be removed
• Torque all bolts in the proper sequence to 32 ft-lbs (43 Nm)
