Beans Diesel 210311 Bean Machine Billet Aluminum Gridlock Girdle Kit
The Bean Machine Gridlock Girdle was built to fix the problems found in other Cummins girdles. It delivers serious bottom-end strength without extra parts, oil-pan dents, fragile spacers, or leak-prone hardware. This kit (PN 210311) does not include main studs.
Why It Works
As horsepower and cylinder pressure rise, main caps can walk, bow, or flex. The Gridlock girdle locks the caps in place with steel dowel inserts, ties the entire lower block together using every available bolt hole out to the edges, and adds preload set screws directly over each main cap. The result is a more rigid bottom end that helps keep mains true under high load.
Billet aluminum construction is more than twice as thick as many competing steel girdles (typical competitor thickness is around 0.300"). The extra thickness more than offsets aluminum’s lower tensile strength, producing greater overall rigidity while cutting weight and making installation easier. Pressed-in steel inserts at the stud locations prevent the nuts from compressing the aluminum and provide precise dowel alignment. An O-ring seal against the block surface eliminates leaks.
No oil-pan modifications are required.
Kit Contents
- 1 Billet aluminum Gridlock girdle with steel dowel inserts
- 7 × ½"-13 preload set screws
- Flange nuts (including one high-torque 12-point)
- 2 oil pickup tube spacers
- 2 oil pickup tube bolts
- 32 oil pan bolts
- 12 × 10 mm block stiffener bolts
- 2 extra-long 10 mm bolts for oil-pickup brackets
Fitment
2003–2018 Dodge/Ram 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins common-rail engines.
Important Notes
This version does not include ARP (or equivalent) main studs. Standard off-the-shelf ARP main-stud kits for these engines are typically too short. Use the matching Beans Diesel 210300 kit (girdle + ARP studs) or the correct custom-length 12 mm studs. Line-honing with the girdle and preload screws installed and torqued is strongly recommended.
Proudly made in Tennessee, USA.
Ideal for high-horsepower street trucks, sled-pull, and competition builds that need extra main-cap support without the usual girdle headaches.
