Give your lifted Cummins the damping it actually needs. The Bilstein B8 5100 (24-187213) is a high-pressure monotube front shock built for 1994–2013 Ram 2500 and 1994–2012 Ram 3500 4WD trucks with a 6–8" front lift. It is sold individually — two required per vehicle.
Designed for heavy Cummins trucks that tow, haul, and see mixed pavement and dirt, this shock uses a 46mm digressive piston and self-adjusting deflective-disc valving. It reacts quickly to changing road inputs so the front end stays planted when loaded, without the harshness of cheap lifted shocks on the street.

- 46mm digressive piston — large piston area plus velocity-sensitive valving for control over washboard, potholes, and loaded highway runs.

Install notes
Manufacturer recommends this shock for a 6–8" front lift. Because aftermarket lift kits vary, measure your existing shock (stem base to eye center) before ordering. Some chassis bump stops may need modification so the shock does not bottom hard. Direct bolt-on for listed applications when length is correct.
