Bilstein B6 4600 Front Shock — 24-269421
Stock-height 2014–2026 Ram 2500 2WD
Factory shocks on a Ram 2500 wear out the same way every time: the front end gets loose, the nose dives under braking, and every expansion joint feels bigger than it used to. The B6 4600 is the bolt-on fix for that. It keeps your stock ride height and factory springs, but it damps the front axle the way a heavy 2WD truck actually needs to be damped.
This is not a cheap twin-tube replacement. Inside is Bilstein’s 46mm monotube, nitrogen-charged and built around a velocity-sensitive digressive piston. Slow suspension movement—body roll, brake dive, trailer sway—gets firmer control. Fast hits get enough give that the truck doesn’t feel stiff or brittle. Heat from highway miles, payload, and towing does not fade the shock the way an old OE damper does.
24-269421 is tuned specifically for the front of a stock-height Ram 2500 2WD. Stem up top, 14.4mm eye at the bottom, yellow body, blue boot. It bolts in like the original. No lift. No spring swap.
