Remote Reservoir | 4" Lift | Ram 2500 / 3500 4WD
Direct-fit monotube shock built for lifted heavy-duty Rams. The remote reservoir adds oil volume and cooling so damping stays consistent on the highway, under load, and off-road.
Bilstein B8 5160 shocks are made as a bolt-on upgrade for trucks that have already been lifted. Part number 25-331912 is the front application for 4" of lift on 4WD Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. It uses Bilstein’s 46mm monotube design, velocity-sensitive digressive valving tuned for this chassis, and a remote reservoir that increases oil capacity and wheel travel versus a standard shock.
The extra reservoir oil helps shed heat during long washboard sections, towing, or repeated big hits so the shock is less likely to fade. A 360° swivel banjo hose and included billet reservoir clamp keep the install clean and low-profile on the stock mounts. Zinc plating protects the body from corrosion. Damping is non-adjustable and application-specific.
Sold individually. Two shocks are required per vehicle.
