Upgrade the rear suspension on your 2011–2025 GM 2500HD/3500HD with the Bilstein B8 5100 Series shock absorber (part #24-196468). Built as a direct-fit rear shock for stock-to-1" rear lift, it is valved specifically for Silverado and Sierra HD trucks so you get firmer control without the harsh, bouncy feel common on lifted heavy-duty pickups.

These shocks use a 46mm monotube, nitrogen-charged design that runs cooler and resists fade under load—whether you are commuting, towing, or running light off-road. Bilstein’s patented digressive piston reacts quickly to changing road surfaces, while split compression and rebound valving is tuned for this chassis. The result is better stability when loaded or empty, less body roll, and a more controlled ride than typical aftermarket lifted shocks.
