The BorgWarner 177209 is a 1.00 A/R turbine housing for S300 frame turbochargers that use the 76mm turbine wheel (76.20mm O.D., 67.56mm exducer). It lets you change the A/R of an S300SX3, S300SX-E or S300SX-R build, or dress a supercore that ships without a turbine housing. A larger A/R reduces drive pressure and helps the turbo keep pulling at high rpm and high horsepower.
The housing uses a divided T4 twin scroll inlet and a 4.21 in. V-band (Marmon) outlet, so it bolts to common T4 manifolds and turbo mounts on diesel and gas performance builds. It is cast iron and is genuine BorgWarner AirWerks hardware. No core required.

Installation Tip: Clock the housing so the T4 inlet lines up with your manifold before snugging the clamp plates, then torque the cap screws evenly in a cross pattern. Use new hardware and a fresh T4 gasket, and check the turbine wheel spins freely by hand once the housing is tight.
