When the factory turbo actuator on a 2008-2010 6.4L Powerstroke fails, you lose control of the turbo vanes, and the original Smart Remote Actuator (SRA, BorgWarner 476840) has been discontinued. The BorgWarner 59001107387 retrofit kit is the replacement: a new Compact Brushless Actuator (CBA) that bolts into the same space on the V2S turbo system and matches the original actuator's performance.

The CBA doesn't need engine coolant like the old SRA did. During the install, the coolant block and short hose come off, and the existing shielded hose routes straight to the reservoir, which gets rid of one more coolant connection on a truck that already has plenty.
