2003-2008 Ram 2500/3500 4WD (and 1500 4WD Mega Cab) need the correct intermediate shaft—this is not the same as the 2WD/1500 part. The Borgeson 000951 is the heavy-duty telescopic shaft for those 4WD applications.

It connects the factory column to the steering box. It is the shaft commonly paired with Borgeson’s 800123 steering box; that box needs a Borgeson shaft or an adapter flat on the stock shaft.
