Solve the well-known factory EGR cooler failures on early 6.0L Powerstroke engines with this upgraded Bullet Proof Diesel round-style cooler. Designed as a direct replacement for 2003–early 2004 Ford Super Duty trucks built before September 22, 2003, it replaces OEM part 3C3Z-9P456-B and retains full factory EGR system function.
The original Ford round EGR cooler is a common weak point that can crack, leak coolant into the intake or oil, cause white smoke, overheating, or even hydrolock. This Bullet Proof version addresses those issues with thicker stainless steel cooling tubes that resist fatigue and heat stress far better than stock, all-welded TIG construction, and more than double the coolant capacity for improved cooling under load.
