Wiped Duramax mains knock low in the block and open oil clearance. Clevite MS-2218P is the P-series main set for a standard crank. It covers LB7 through LML, 2001-2016.

• Series: P-series is the Clevite tri-metal bearing, steel-backed with a copper-lead overlay, and it is the replacement shell rather than the H-series piece.
• Size: Standard size, for a main journal that has not been ground undersize. An undersize journal will be too loose on this shell. Spec shaft diameter is 3.1459 to 3.1466 inch.
• Part number: Clevite MS-2218P.
• Fitment: LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, and LML Duramax, 2001-2016. No year line was.
• Does not fit: A 2017-up L5P, or an undersize crank. The cam set SH-1999S covers 2001-2013 only, so these two parts do not cover the same years.
• Not in the box: Rod bearings, pistons, and rings are not in this set. Order thrust washers separately if the engine needs them.
