The FASS FC2001K (FASS Connect Digital Monitoring System) is a comprehensive, wireless-enabled fuel monitoring kit engineered for diesel trucks equipped with aftermarket lift pumps. Designed to bridge physical in-cab gauges with modern smartphone connectivity, this system pairs a dedicated 2-1/16-inch digital in-cab gauge with the centralized FASS Connect ECU module. The engine-bay mounted ECU communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth with the in-cab display and the free FASS Connect iOS/Android mobile app, eliminating the need to route sensor wires through the cab firewall. FASS includes an OEM-grade 0–100 PSI pressure transducer, a 15-foot sensor harness, and fuse-tap power wiring.

Starved injection pumps, cavitating CP3, CP4, VP44, or HEUI pumps, undetected lift pump pressure drops under heavy throttle, clogged fuel filters restricting flow, and drilling firewall holes for gauge wiring are what this system eliminates. Modern diesel high-pressure fuel systems depend entirely on constant positive feed pressure from the lift pump for both volume and internal lubrication. A pressure drop from a clogged fuel filter or failed pump can destroy expensive fuel injectors and injection pumps in seconds without triggering a factory check engine light. The FASS Connect system monitors live feed pressure and provides customizable audio and visual low-pressure warnings directly through the in-cab gauge and smartphone interface. Adding an optional second pressure sensor allows differential pressure tracking across the filter base to monitor fuel filter life in real time. It is the complete digital gauge, ECU module, sensor, and harness monitoring kit; lift pumps, filter bases, mounting cups, and auxiliary sensors are sold separately.

It fits standard 2-1/16-inch (52mm) gauge pods, pillar mounts, or dash cups across universal diesel applications equipped with a FASS Titanium, Titanium Signature Series, or any aftermarket or OEM electric diesel lift pump system.

Disconnect both vehicle batteries before beginning electrical installation. Mount the FASS Connect ECU module in the engine bay in a protected location away from intense exhaust heat and direct water spray. Thread the 1/8-inch NPT pressure transducer into the dedicated gauge port on your FASS filter base, post-pump manifold, or fuel bowl test adapter using a diesel-rated liquid thread sealant (such as Loctite 567)—never use Teflon tape, which can shred and clog fuel injector nozzles. When installing on VP44 or CP3 Dodge Cummins engines, mount the transducer remotely using a grease gun whip hose or snubber valve to protect the electronic sensor from harsh injection pump pressure spikes. Power the ECU and gauge using the included add-a-fuse taps connected to key-on switched ignition circuits and clean chassis grounds, download the FASS Connect app, and pair the ECU and in-cab gauge via Bluetooth.
