LBZ and LMM intercoolers heat-soak on a long pull, and the stamped tanks are what crack. The CSF 6023 is the bar-and-plate core for those trucks. A 2006 3500 is not on the list unless it is the 2007 Classic.

• Build: Bar-and-plate aluminum core, 36 inches by 20-1/2 inches and 1-5/8 inches thick. Inlet is 3-1/8 inches and the outlet is 3-1/4 inches.
• Part number: CSF 6023 crosses OEM 15293729 and 19370174.
• Fitment: 2006-2010 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD, 2007 Classic 2500HD and 3500, and 2007-2010 Silverado and Sierra 3500 with the 6.6L LBZ or LMM.
• Does not fit: A 2006 3500 that is not a Classic, and 2011-up LML trucks. The tube-and-fin unit is CSF 6002. The heavy-duty cast-tank cooler is CSF 7102.
• Not in the box: Boots, hoses, and clamps are not included. This is the cooler only.
• Warranty: CSF lists a 1-year limited warranty for the original owner. The term is on the warranty card in the box.
