The 2017-2019 L5P primary radiator leaks at the plastic tank or overheats the transmission when the in-tank cooler is restricted. Replace it with the CSF 3843. It is a 2-row crossflow radiator with quick-connect oil-cooler fittings for those HD trucks.

• Build: Two rows, 27-7/16 inches by 33-7/16 inches and 2-3/16 inches thick.
• Transmission cooler: An 11-1/2 inch plate cooler sits on the right side of the tank, with quick-connect oil fittings and a quick-connect coolant outlet.
• Hoses: Coolant inlet is 2 inches on the left and the outlet is 2-1/4 inches on the right.
• Tank: Glass-filled plastic tank and EPDM seals, leak-tested at 150 percent of operating pressure.
• Part number: CSF 3843 crosses OEM 23208447 and 84224661.
• Fitment: 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 with the 6.6L L5P.
• Does not fit: 2011-2016 LML trucks, CSF 3584, and 2020-up trucks, CSF 3928. It is not the auxiliary radiator, CSF 3938.
• Not in the box: The radiator cap is not included, and the hoses and clamps are not in the box.
• Warranty: CSF lists a 2-year limited warranty for the original owner. The term is on the warranty card in the box.
