5.9 12-Valve Cummins High Performance Delivery Valves – DDP DV and CUTDV

Unlock more fuel, sharper throttle response, and real power from your 1994–1998 Dodge Ram 5.9L 12-valve Cummins P-7100 injection pump with Dynomite Diesel (DDP) high-performance delivery valves.

These precision-machined valves replace the stock units in the top of the P-pump and control how fuel is delivered to each cylinder. The result is improved injection characteristics, stronger low- and mid-range fueling, and noticeable gains in horsepower and torque—especially when paired with upgraded injectors, a fuel plate, and adequate airflow.

Two options to match your build:

• DDP DV (High Performance) — Dynomite’s street-oriented upgrade, most similar to the well-known 024-style valve. These deliver additional fuel compared to stock while maintaining better control than more aggressive 191-style valves. Users typically see around 20 more horsepower with lower EGTs and less smoke than 191s. Ideal for high-performance street trucks, towing, and daily-driven builds that still want extra fueling and response.
• DDP CUTDV (Full Cut / Laser Cut) — Maximum-flow valves with restrictions removed for the highest possible fuel delivery. These produce heavy fuel volume and are intended for dedicated competition applications such as sled pulling and drag racing (typically 1,000+ hp builds). They are not recommended for street use due to increased smoke and heat.

Both versions come as a complete set of six valves (one per cylinder) and include the delivery valve holder O-rings. They are a straightforward, relatively inexpensive upgrade that many 12-valve owners consider one of the best bang-for-the-buck modifications on the P-7100.

Choose the DDP DV for balanced, street-friendly performance or the CUTDV when maximum fuel is the priority. Confirm your pump is a P-7100 and match the valve style to your power goals and intended use.
