Increased fueling demands from programmers, heavy towing, or upgraded injectors drop supply pressure and create suction vacuum in the tank, entraining air and vapor bubbles into the diesel charge. Entrained air leads to barrel and plunger galling, injector tip erosion, and low rail pressure trouble codes (P0087 and P1093); AirDog prevents this by supplying positive, deaerated fuel pressure directly to the CP3 pump inlet.

This system combines AirDog’s classic high-flow return base with their quiet 4-bearing 4G motor technology, which lowers operating noise levels and increases motor lifespan. The pump draws fuel from the tank using an included 1/2-inch draw straw, bypassing the restrictive factory in-tank pickup module. Fuel passes first through an external water separator (WS100) before reaching the gerotor pump gears, which push the fuel under positive pressure through a 2-micron particulate filter (FF100-2) while venting entrained vapor and air back to the fuel filler neck via an integrated return line.
