The DPC F4RMD is a medium-duty triple-disc converter for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. It is the stock-stall unit, rated to about 500 hp. The low-stall version is F4RMDLS, about 1,800 rpm.
The cover is studded billet, 6-stud. The impeller is furnace-brazed. The turbine and the hub are TIG welded so the hub does not walk the way a stock converter does. Friction material is DPC’s. A core charge applies. The warranty is 2 years. Bolts come with the converter. The flex plate has to be the 6-stud pattern.
It fits 1994–2003 F-250 through F-550 and 2000–2003 Excursion trucks with a 6-stud E4OD or 4R100.
