The Driven Diesel DD-SD-RTNHOSE-18 is a pre-cut replacement fuel return line designed specifically for Driven Diesel Regulated Return fuel systems on 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke engines. It features 18 inches of premium, heavy-duty diesel-rated push-lok style hose engineered to connect the bottom outlet of the fuel pressure regulator block to the factory hard steel return line along the chassis frame rail.

Fuel weeping, stiff or hardened rubber, and cracking from high engine valley heat and exposure to ultra-low sulfur diesel or biodiesel are what this replacement hose addresses. Over years of service, standard rubber return lines degrade and can swell or leak at the push-on barbs, creating diesel odors and engine bay messes. It is the replacement 18-inch cut hose only; regulator fittings, hose clamps, and fuel line adapters are sold separately.

It fits 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke Super Duty trucks and Excursions running a Driven Diesel Standard or Regulated Return fuel system kit.

Relieve fuel system pressure and place shop rags below the regulator return port and lower steel chassis line to catch residual fuel before slicing off the old hose. Ensure the metal tube barb and regulator nipple are completely clean, smooth, and free of burrs. Lightly lubricate the inside edge of the hose with clean diesel fuel or oil, push it fully over the barbs, and secure with fuel-injection style clamps to guarantee a leak-free seal.
