The DTC HFHCIDM is a high-voltage, high-current injector driver module for a 1994.5–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It is not a stock rebuild. Drive voltage goes from about 110 volts to 140, and current is up about 20 percent.
That opens the poppet faster and holds it more firmly, which is the usual upgrade on a tuned truck or one with bigger injectors. It uses the factory connectors. A P1298 soft code after install is normal on these modules and does not change how the truck runs. A core charge applies. The warranty is 3 years, unlimited miles.
It fits 1994.5–2003 7.3 trucks, OBS and Super Duty.
Fitment
- 1994.5–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
- 140-volt drive, about 20 percent more current
- Factory connectors
- Core charge applies
- 3-year warranty
A weak UVCH or a bad injector will still misfire. This module drives what is already in the engine. It does not fix a wiring harness.
