The Edge Evolution HT2 16040 is a handheld flash programmer for 1999–2019 Ford Powerstroke trucks. It plugs into the OBD-II port, loads an Edge calibration, and backs up the stock file so you can return the PCM to factory.
Preloaded files cover economy, tow, performance, and extreme. On a stock truck the top file is about 111 hp and 205 lb-ft on a 7.3, 111 hp and 162 lb-ft on a 6.0, 114 hp and 206 lb-ft on a 6.4, and 80 hp and 180 lb-ft on a 2011–2014 6.7. A 2015–2019 6.7 is about 106 to 120 hp, depending on year. It reads and clears codes, shows live data, and can correct the speedometer for tire size or gear ratio. Updates run through Edge Fusion on a Windows PC.
It is a programmer, not a dash monitor. Flash the truck, then unplug it. These files do not delete emissions equipment. It will not run a cab-and-chassis, an E-Series van, or a 2011 manual truck. It is not for sale in California.
