This cable is required for EZ Lynk Auto Agent 2. It bypasses the factory Security Gateway Module so you can read data, flash calibrations, run updates, and complete vehicle functions the stock OBD port will not allow.
Why You Need It
Starting in 2018, RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins added a Security Gateway Module (SGM).
That module locks down the network.
A standard OBD cable cannot reach the ECM/TCM for tuning, module updates, or many diagnostic routines.
The EZ Lynk 100EE00C09 solves that.
It combines a 20.5-inch OBDII diagnostic cable with the dedicated SGM adapter so Auto Agent 2 can talk to the truck as a full-access tool, not just a basic code reader.
How It Connects
Plug the OBD connector into the port under the dash.
Plug the SGM adapter into the black-and-green STAR connector on the far left side of the dash, near the door frame.
No splicing.
No radio removal.
No back-pinning.
Once connected, the Auto Agent 2 app can monitor live data, diagnose issues, and support tuner calibrations on supported 2018-2024 6.7L Cummins Rams.
Important Compatibility Note
This part is for EZ Lynk Auto Agent 2 only.
It is not compatible with Auto Agent 3.
Auto Agent 3 uses a different SGM adapter (typically 100EE00C23).

Install Notes
- Locate the OBD-II port under the dash
- Find the two STAR connectors on the far left under the dash, near the door frame
- Plug the SGM adapter into the black and green STAR connector
- Connect the OBD end
- Secure the Auto Agent with cable ties so it is not kicked
- Open the Auto Agent app and follow the on-screen prompts
- Typical install time is about 10 minutes
