The factory passenger-side split axle shaft and short driver-side axle shaft are well-known failure points on Duramax trucks, especially once you add power, larger tires, lift kits, or heavy towing. Fleece solved this by replacing both with a set of high-strength Hy-Tuf axle shafts engineered for maximum durability and torsional strength.

Important Application Notes

These TufShafts do not incorporate an axle disconnect. The front driveshaft will spin whenever the vehicle is in motion. With the front differential unlocked, the truck will turn and drive normally.

The factory axle shaft snap ring is not used during installation.
