The Dorman 264-058 is a direct-fit replacement engine oil pan engineered specifically for 1994–2003 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty and OBS trucks, 2000–2003 Ford Excursions, and 1995–2003 Ford E-Series vans equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine. Stamped from durable, heavy-gauge steel to replicate factory OE dimensions, this rear-sump pan provides a reliable, cost-effective replacement for rust-damaged original pans. Each pan features a high-durability electrostatic black anti-corrosion coating designed to resist salt spray, road moisture, and debris impact. In addition, it incorporates an internal anti-slosh baffle to maintain oil supply at the pickup tube under harsh braking or steep inclines and comes complete with a pre-installed M14 x 1.5 oil drain plug.
Chronic driveway oil leaks from external rust-through holes, structural metal rot along the sump bowl, stripped drain plug threads, and cracked mounting rails caused by years of road brine exposure are what this pan eliminates. Original factory 7.3L pans are notorious for severe corrosion in rust-belt states, frequently resulting in catastrophic oil loss. Because replacing an oil pan on a 7.3L Powerstroke requires pulling or significantly hoisting the engine off its mounts, the Dorman 264-058 provides precise bolt-hole alignment, flat sealing rails, and exact steering and crossmember clearance to ensure a lasting seal. It is a complete bare steel oil pan including the drain plug; RTV sealant (Motorcraft TA-31), oil pan gaskets, dipstick adapter repair kits, and pickup tubes are sold separately.
It fits all 1994–1997 Ford OBS and 1999–2003 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks, 2000–2003 Ford Excursions, and 1995–2003 Ford E-250, E-350, and E-450 Econoline vans equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke turbo diesel engine (rear sump configuration).

Because the front engine crossmember sits directly underneath the rear sump on 7.3L trucks, safely pull the engine using a heavy-duty shop crane and secure it on an engine stand, or unbolt the transmission crossmember and motor mount through-bolts to raise the engine several inches upward off the frame pads. Once the engine is secured, unthread the drain plug and drain all remaining engine oil completely into a suitable container. Remove the outer nut on the oil dipstick adapter located on the side of the pan and allow the inner adapter body to drop into the pan cavity (or use an external dipstick repair adapter during reassembly). Remove the perimeter oil pan mounting bolts, insert a gasket separator or thin putty knife between the pan flange and block to cut through the factory silicone seal, and remove the rusted pan. Thoroughly scrape all old silicone sealant from the engine block rails, front cover base, and rear main seal carrier, then degrease the mating surfaces using brake cleaner until completely bare and oil-free. Lay down a continuous, uniform 1/4-inch bead of Motorcraft TA-31 diesel RTV silicone around the entire pan flange, ensuring the bead runs around the inside of each bolt hole (or install an approved molded rubber pan gasket). Place the new Dorman pan onto the crankcase, guide the dipstick adapter through the side port, loosely secure all perimeter bolts, and torque them in a crisscross sequence starting from the center out to 15 ft-lbs (180 in-lbs). Allow the sealant to cure fully for 24 hours before filling the crankcase with 15 quarts of 15W-40 oil and checking for leaks on initial startup.
