The Ford F81Z-7A020-BA is the transmission dipstick for a 1999–2003 7.3 with a 4R100. It is the stick only. The tube is XC3Z-7A228-AA.
Use it when the stick is missing, bent, or the marks are worn off. The level marks have to match this transmission. A stick from another Ford will read wrong. It slides into the factory tube on an F-Series.
It fits 1999–2003 F-Series trucks with a 4R100.

Hi, I’m looking for a transmission dipstick for my 2003 Ford F3 55.4 gas. The part number is F81278020AA your part number is very similar and it claims to be for a diesel the only difference being at the end of the number it has BA instead AA will this work for my vehicle thank you Bob
