The Ford W302170 is the bolt that holds the drive gear on the high-pressure oil pump of a 7.3 Powerstroke. It is the gear bolt only. The washer is International 1818210C1 and is not included.
That bolt is what you take out to pull the gear off the pump shaft. Torque it to 95 lb-ft. The gear has to be meshed or the pump shaft will spin and the bolt will never reach torque. It is not the pump mounting bolt. Those are the two 18 lb-ft bolts. A stretched or rounded gear bolt gets replaced, not reused.
It fits 1994–2003 7.3 trucks any time the HPOP gear comes off.
Fitment
- 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
- HPOP drive gear bolt
- Genuine Ford W302170
- Torque 95 lb-ft
- Washer not included

The access cover has to come off to reach it. Seal that cover when it goes back on or it will leak down the front of the engine.
