PPE 168030150 Duramax Silicone Bushing Engine Mount Kit — 50 SHD Street/Performance Firmness

The PPE 168030150 kit is a complete high-performance engine mount upgrade for 2001–2010 GM 6.6L Duramax trucks (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM). It replaces worn factory rubber mounts with a redesigned steel-bracket assembly and premium silicone bushings in 50 SHD (Green) Street/Performance firmness. A companion kit covers 2011–2016 LML applications.

Stock rubber mounts crack, sag, and lose damping as they age. Heat, oil, mileage, and extra horsepower speed that up. The result is extra engine movement, more vibration and noise in the cab, sloppy throttle response, and less stable alignment under load. This kit is built to lock the engine down more consistently while still remaining usable on the street.

Street/Performance 50 Hardness (Green)

The 50 SHD bushings sit in the Street/Performance range: firmer and more controlled than tired OEM rubber, without the harshness of a full race mount. They cut engine rock and driveline movement during acceleration, towing, and hard shifts, while keeping everyday ride quality acceptable for mixed street and work use.

PPE also offers other durometers if you later want to retune the truck:

The silicone inserts are replaceable, so you can change hardness later without buying new brackets.
