The Goerend F42-E4OD/4R/5R-Input-SP is a billet input shaft for an E4OD, a 4R100, and a 5R110W. It is the shaft the converter drives. The transmission has to come apart to install it.
Goerend forges it from 300M steel and burnishes the surface to raise the yield point. The spline is 30/31. A stock input shaft is a common break on a tuned 7.3, 6.0, or 6.4. The output shaft, the pump, and the clutches are not included.
It fits 1994–2010 Powerstroke trucks with an E4OD, 4R100, or 5R110W.
