Relieve fuel-system pressure, support the tank, and replace the lock-ring seal during install. After start-up, check for leaks and confirm the gauge sweeps correctly. If a 2017–2019 L5P long-box truck is starving the injection pump or reading fuel level wrong, GM 85068787 is the OEM in-tank pump module for that tank.
