This is a purpose-built 5-position Switch-on-the-Fly (SOTF) switch that interfaces with the EGR temperature sensor circuit. When paired with custom tuning (EFI Live, EZ Lynk, AutoCal, and similar platforms), it lets you instantly select between different performance calibrations while driving — stock/economy for daily use, moderate power for general driving, or higher-power maps for towing or performance — all with a simple turn of the knob.
