The BD Diesel 1064742SS TowMaster package pairs a rebuilt Allison 1000 transmission with a matched BD torque converter for 2007.5-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD 2WD trucks with the 6.6L LMM Duramax. The factory Allison runs thin clutch packs and low line pressure, so added power and heavy trailers lead to slipping, heat and burned clutches. This package is built to hold that load day after day.
BD adds clutches to the packs, uses high energy frictions, revises the oil circuits and installs new A and B trim valves so the clutches see full line pressure.
