The MBRP FAL6218 is a 3 inch Armor Lite aluminized turbo downpipe for 1994-1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks with the 7.3L Powerstroke. It replaces the factory downpipe from the turbo back to the catalytic converter.
The pipe is jig-built with smooth mandrel bends for better flow, more power and lower exhaust temperatures. It connects to the turbo with the stock band clamp and the factory catalytic converter bolts back on with the supplied hardware.

- Installation Tip: Bend back the pinch weld where the firewall meets the floor to make room for the pipe, then recheck clearances and clamps after the first 30-60 miles.

Downpipe fits great, well-made. Just don’t use the instruction’s torque specs. It calls for 45 lb-ft on the Marmon clamp (which snapped my T-Bolt). I should have cross-referenced, everywhere else says around 10 lb-ft. Overall I’m happy with it.

This 2 piece kit was perfect for what I needed. All hardware was provided, install was what you would expect if you know about the clearance of obs firewalls. Took a few hours after work, but it seems to be a fine product. I would recommend getting rid of the factory cobra-head down pipe as one of the first mods someone does to their truck. I can�t compare mbrp to the diamond eye, but with the fit and quality of the downpipe I received, I would absolutely spend a little more for this one again, trusting it would be another great product. I�m very pleased in my purchase, and would recommend.
