I purchased this trying not to have to set valve covers back on with glow plugs out turning the engine over to clear out the cylinders. I tried it with injector cups in on 2001 7.3 the hoses are to big for the whole but once cups are removed it will fit I was hoping it would go through the cups so could use it more often than just changing cups but still be useful for other projects I’m sure

I bought a truck that had no power. It ran good but you couldn’t pull out in traffic it was so bad. I found that I had low fuel pressure from a variety of small issues. I fixed all that and still had low power , which led me to believe the low fuel pressure took out the injectors . I purchased these injectors with the php tuner / chip , I’m a little more advanced then the average guy working on their own vehicle. It took me a solid day and half taking my time and making sure everything was installed carefully. Truck started up after the 3 cycle of cranking. Trucks had lots of power now , however , it was idling high. Between 800-850rpm. Which might sound like not much higher. But at a red light , it’s annoying how high it’s idling . I called full force a few times looking for assistance. I suspected the tuning was off some which way. Every time I called they did answer, but they kept telling me I had still had air in the hpop system. I understand they aren’t over the phone mechanics, and they probably get calls from lots of dummies . However I decided to purchase these directly from them because of the reviews on the support they provided after install. I decided to purchase a tune from another company, and uploaded it to the php hydra. Instantly fixed. Idles like stock now 670rpm. I think over all it’s good company , I received parts quickly, however I was disappointed that the guy on their other end of the phone just wanted to jump to “air in the system”.

I upgraded from a SuperTuner. The tuner was good, the Hydra is great. My up-down buttons are wonky and I haven�t been able to get a replacement. Difficult to step through the tunes.

I am really happy with my purchase of this chip. It definitely drives like a different truck. Which is great! It almost trips me out because I am used to babying it, so when the rpm�s hop up as fast as they do now, it makes me a little nervous. But getting used to how it drives. Overall very simple installation, very good product.

For the product that I bought is worth the money but looking for a software that fits a book or any Apple product they should at least give us more information to find the software. The hardest thing was to find the software, and they should�ve asked if it was gonna run over the phone because I have to ship the connector back to get it a special chip put it if I would�ve known this, I would�ve asked to do it right then I still haven�t used mine because I don�t have the software yet to add another line to it
