South Bend SDD3250-G Street Dual Disc Clutch 5.9L & 6.7L Cummins | G56 Transmission | 2005.5–2018 Dodge Ram
Take your Cummins-powered Dodge Ram to the next level with the South Bend SDD3250-G Street Dual Disc Clutch. Built specifically for the G56 6-speed manual transmission in 2005.5–2018 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins trucks, this clutch is the go-to choice for drivers who want smooth daily drivability without sacrificing the ability to tow heavy loads or run performance modifications.
South Bend’s innovative multi-friction dual disc design gives you the best of both worlds: organic friction buttons face the flywheel and pressure plate for smooth, street-friendly engagement, while ceramic buttons face the center plate for superior holding power and heat resistance. The result is a clutch that feels refined on the street but confidently handles serious torque.
The 13-inch diaphragm-style 3,250 lb pressure plate provides maximum clamping force with surprisingly light pedal effort. A stabilized, dampened center plate with neoprene slugs eliminates annoying rattle when the clutch is disengaged, and the sprung-hub discs help reduce driveline shock.
This kit includes a solid ductile iron flywheel, converting your truck from the factory dual-mass flywheel to a much more durable single-mass design.
Perfect for:
- Daily-driven trucks that regularly tow 15,000–30,000+ lbs
- Modified Cummins trucks with tunes, deletes, or other performance upgrades
- Drivers who want strong clutch performance without a heavy pedal
Important Note: The SDD3250-G version is designed for trucks that already have upgraded clutch hydraulics (heavy-duty master/slave cylinder and throwout bearing). If your truck still has the factory hydraulics, we recommend the complete SDD3250-GK kit, which includes upgraded hydraulics.
Not recommended for competition use or sled pulling.
