Built from heavy-duty military-grade cross-linked high-density polyethylene (XLHDPE) with a minimum 1/4-inch wall thickness, this tank nearly doubles the fuel storage of factory 37-gallon or 40-gallon mid-ship tanks. Titan designs this tank with internal low-fuel baffling to keep the fuel pickup submerged on steep inclines and under heavy load changes, all while retaining factory frame rails, sending units, and chassis mounting configurations.

Run the vehicle until the fuel level is as low as possible before starting the installation, park on a solid level surface, and disconnect both negative battery cables. Support the factory mid-ship tank with a transmission jack or wide-cradle floor jack, disconnect the fuel filler neck, vent lines, and sending unit electrical connector, and use fuel line disconnect tools to release the quick-connect supply and return fittings. Lower the original tank from the chassis frame, remove the factory lock ring, and extract the fuel sender assembly—inspecting the pickup foot for deterioration or cracks and cleaning any residual debris. Install the supplied Titan float arm extension onto the factory sending unit to ensure the in-cab fuel gauge reads accurately across the full 67-gallon depth. Lower the modified sending unit into the Titan tank using a fresh O-ring gasket, secure it with the provided Titan heavy-duty retaining ring, and raise the tank into the chassis frame pocket. Fasten the tank securely using the included heavy-duty mounting straps, reconnect all fuel hoses, vent tubes, and electrical plugs, and add clean diesel fuel to verify seals prior to operation.
