The BD Diesel 1064424SM TowMaster package pairs a rebuilt E4OD transmission with a matched BD ProForce torque converter for 1995-1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks with the 7.3L Powerstroke. The factory E4OD was built for stock power, so added fuel and heavy trailers lead to soft shifts, slipping, heat and burned clutches. This package is built to carry that load.
BD replaces aluminum planetaries with steel, fully rollerizes the geartrain and installs a full shift kit with a line mod valve and recalibrated accumulator body for quicker, firmer shifts. The ProForce converter uses cast aluminum stators and a stamp-forged steel cover, and the pair is dyno tested before it ships with BD's deep aluminum pan and a frame-mounted full flow filter kit.
