1994-2003 7.3L Powerstroke 3 Inch Turbo Leak Tester DieselSite DSBLC

The DieselSite DSBLC is a 3-inch boost leak tester for a stock-inlet 7.3 Powerstroke turbo. It plugs the compressor inlet so you can pressure-test the charge-air system with a shop compressor.

A 1 to 3 psi leak is enough to slow spool, soften the bottom end, and raise EGTs. This tool finds it in seconds. Pull the intake boot, seat the tester in the turbo inlet, and bring the system up to 10 to 20 psi. Leaks hiss at the boots, clamps, intercooler, and spider. Use it after any boot, clamp, or turbo job, not only when the truck already feels down on power.

The 3-inch size matches a stock 1994–2003 7.3 turbo inlet. Measure the outside diameter of the inlet before you order. A ported housing or aftermarket turbo is usually 4 inches and needs the 4-inch tester.

    Fitment

    • 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke with a stock 3-inch turbo inlet
    • OBS and Super Duty
    • Shop-air connection
    • Does not fit a 4-inch aftermarket or ported inlet

It will not fix a leak. It tells you which boot or clamp is the one blowing off.

You could build it cheaper and save the money, unless you have no tools. But how are you gonna fix your truck with no tools?
