The ATS 3029303104 is a TripleLok torque converter for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. Stall stays near stock. Torque multiplication is about 2.0 to 1, against about 1.25 to 1 on the factory converter. The Five Star, with about 2.4 to 1, is 3029503104.

The cover is billet, with square-flank drive tabs instead of round tabs. The clutch is the Viskus pack, laser-cut plates and ATS friction. Roller bearings sit in the high-load spots. The pump drive is 4340 and plasma-welded into the impeller. The warranty is 5 years or 500,000 miles. An early IDI with a 4-bolt flex plate needs the ATS billet plate. This cover is the 6-stud pattern.
