The Sun Coast 4R100-SD36-3D is a triple-disc torque converter for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. Stall is about 1,800–1,900 rpm, stock-style driving with more holding power.

The cover is forged billet steel, so it sheds heat better than a stamped cover. The clutch pack is three discs, larger than the factory single disc. The pump and turbine are custom for tighter coupling. A core charge applies. The warranty is 3 years, unlimited miles. The flex plate has to match the stud pattern on this converter.

It fits 1994–2003 7.3 trucks with an E4OD or 4R100.
