Stop chasing coolant leaks at the plastic thermostat housing. The Fleece FPE-FMC-TH-1125 replaces the factory 6.7 Powerstroke housing with a cast aluminum unit that will not get brittle and crack the way the OEM plastic piece can. It is a direct-fit upgrade for the primary cooling system, works with stock or aftermarket thermostats, and includes new O-rings. Typical symptoms of a failing housing are a coolant smell, a low coolant level, or wetness around the thermostat area.

Let the engine cool and drain coolant below the thermostat before you start. Lubricate the new O-rings with fresh coolant and seat the radiator hose elbow until the retainer clicks.
